Science-To-Go: Life Cycle Lab

Exploring Water Temperature

The children explored using a thermometer as a measurement tool for temperature. The children worked in groups of three to conduct an experiment that involved water of different temperatures. As an assessment, the children recorded their data on a graph.

Spring Kite Flying

The kindergartners made kites to observe the air around them during our study of weather in April.

Earth Day

The children used soil and glue to make Earth Day necklaces. The children have also been using recycled trash to make treasures.

Number Scrolls

The kindergarteners have been writing their numbers as high as they can. These two girls made it to 1,000. It was challenging at first, but has gotten easier as children have developed a deeper understanding of number patterns and place value throughout the process. I have heard many children exclaim, "I didn't think I could do it, but I can!".

Weather here, weather there.
Weather, weather everywhere!
Windy weather moving fiercely.
Fun weather blowing coldly.
Sunny weather changing brightly.
Cloudy weather showering loudly.
Weather in the Spring.
Weather in the Summer.
Weather in the Fall.
Weather in the Winter.
Purple Team
Weather here, weather there.
Weather, weather everywhere!
Sunny weather shining brightly.
Snowy weather moving loudly.
Cold weather blowing quietly.
Fun weather falling softly.
Weather in the Summer.
Weather in the Winter.
Weather in the Spring.
Weather in the Fall.
